One and a half storey, split-level house on a sloping site overlooking the Nire valley, designed to reflect the properties of a traditional farmhouse . House incorporates living accommodation arranged around a central stair and hallway, minimising the need for extensive circulation spaces.

House orientated to ensure that open-plan Kitchen / Dining / Living Room receives direct sunlight throughout the day and South facing elevation maximises available views. South facing sheltered external space to rear surrounded by Hallway, Living Room and Dining Room and the Master Bedroom at First floor.

Garage used as part of overall composition to create external spaces – arrival forecourt and rear yard. House constructed as timber-frame with geothermal heating system.
